Hi

I'm sorry that this is so long but I want people to have the fullest information.

I thought I should update you about what has been happening in my libel case since February 15th when HHJ Nicklin decided that calling someone a 'notorious antisemite' is a matter of opinion and not fact.

It is a salutary reminded that when we are accused of 'antisemitism' by the Zionists and Israel right-or-wrong supporters that they can't prove it, they have nothing to base it on, it is merely a matter of 'honest opinion' or not as the case may be!

I have  submitted, by the end of June a Reply to the Defence which was extremely lengthy

The  CAA's solicitors then decided to try and tie me up with a Request for Further Information

and a Request for 56 documents, most of which they already have

In return I sent to them a holding reply saying that their requests were unreasonable, tendentious, point scoring etc.

There will no doubt be further interim hearings in the autumn when the Campaign Against Antisemitism's solicitors will try to get a summary judgement since their costs are, I estimate of the order of £80K.

By way of contrast I have spent £19,717 to date:

This includes

Cost of launching original claim £2,400

Engaging new barrister, preparation for interim hearing and costs of attendance etc. 7,440

Appeal to the Court of Appeal £1,200

Reply to the defence  £7,200

there are also associated costs of the crowdfunding sites of £1,100 and I have incurred mainly costs of £366 in travel expenses to file claims

So we are being outgunned by about 4-1, which is not surprising since I am a litigant in person.

I am therefore appealing once again for contributions to ensure that I do have access to funds as I don't wish to lose by default.

There are a number of ways to contribute.

i.  By contributing via this site but beware there will be a small deduction (about 3%)

ii.  By Pay Pal to tonygreenstein111@gmail.com but please ensure it is a personal donation to a friend not as a purchase otherwise they will take money - please make it clear what it is for

iii.  via BACS to 04094107 09-01-50 acc name BUWC

iv.  or please send a cheque made out to BUWC at PO Box 173, Brighton BN51 9EZ

Lotta continua!
