A big thank you to all those who have contributed in response to my latest appeal. It is truly a David & Goliath struggle between those who support the Palestinians and oppose the racist and murderous creed known as Zionism and those who, funded by the Israeli state, are able to employ unlimited funds to defend the Apartheid State of Israel.
As someone who is Jewish I refuse to be intimidated by bogus accusations of ‘anti-Semitism’. It is outrageous that racists like the Campaign Against Anti-Semitism can get away with the worst libels and can vilify and denigrate anti-racists on the basis of a spurious ‘anti-Semitism’.
Accusations of ‘anti-Semitism’ have become the new anti-communism. These McCarthyites have no morals or self-respect. The last thing they are concerned about is anti-Semitism. After all what better excuse does a genuine anti-Semite want than to be able to hide behind the excuse that they oppose Zionism or support the Palestinians and when called out they can say that this is what they always say.
The most glaring example of how the despicable CAA distorts, mangles and simply lies about their opponents was when they attacked Jackie Walker, the Black-Jewish anti-racist who is suspended by the Labour Party.
Jackie quoted from the autobiography of Nahum Goldmann, The Jewish Paraxox a Zionist liberal who had been President of the World Zionist Organisation and the World Jewish Congress. Goldman in turn was quoting from Israel’s first Prime Minister David Ben Gurion. Ben Gurion was explaining to his interviewer why in his views the Palestinians would not make their peace with Zionism. He was being realistic. In essence he was saying that we came as colonists, we stole their land and now we justify it in the name of the Holocaust. The ‘Arabs’ turn round and say why should we pay the price for the Holocaust.
‘I don't understand your optimism. Why should the Arabs make peace? If I was an Arab leader I would never make terms with Israel. That is natural: we have taken their country. Sure God promised it to us, but what does that matter to them? Our God is not theirs. We come from Israel, but two thousand years ago, and what is that to them? There has been antisemitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They only see one thing: we have come here and stolen their country. Why should they accept that?
But to the professional racists and smear merchants of the CAA this was manna from heaven. Jackie Walker, who the Zionists had already demonised, had mentioned the Arabs, Holocaust, Hitler, the Nazis and Auschwitz all in one passage.
Gideon Falter, their chief honcho must have thought it was Xmas (or Chanukah) come early. So the CAA’s article was entitled: ‘Jackie Walker posts text asking whether Hitler can really be blamed for the Holocaust’ and the so-called journalist on Jewish News Jack Mendel @mendelpol, who got me temporarily banned on Twitter, followed up with ‘Jackie Walker has just posted something on Facebook, even by her standards this is low.’
Of course the malicious idiots didn’t realise that it was from Ben Gurion or Nahum Goldman. Knowing nothing even of Zionist history they didn’t twig that the book The Jewish Paradox wasn’t an update to Mein Kampf but a thoughtful book from someone who, in his time, had been a Zionist maximalist but who now began to regret and fret at the monster he had brought forth.
Of course the CAA took it down once they realised their mistake but not before idiots like @mendelpol had tweeted their outrage. These are the racist criminals that I am dealing with. They are without doubt operatives of the Israeli government operating in Britain to bring down and destabilise Corbyn, the Left and supporters of the Palestinians.
That is why I have refused their ‘offer’ to settle this case. It is clearly rattling them. But without an unreserved apology and £10,000 to a charity of my choice (plus costs) they are going to have to fight this to the bitter end.
However I need you. I am one single individual without any state or financial resources behind me. I am living on a state pension. That doesn’t extend to hiring barristers. That is where you come in.
