As Hilary Wise wrote a week ago 'This is not a charity but an organisation (one of many) aiming to shut down free speech on the Israel/Palestine issue.' And that sums up what the Campaign Against Anti-Semitism is about. But it is a vicious McCarthyite organisation which has slandered Malaka Shwaikh, an Exeter University student from Gaza. They have tarred her with the brush of 'terrorist' supporter by taking what she said out of context. She is in danger of being victimised by Exeter University authorities, who have shown no backbone whatsoever. Malaka is a student from Gaza and has gone through some of the most terrible of times at the hands of these people. Yet Gideon Falter, who decries 'anti-Semitism' is a board member of the Jewish National Fund which openly refuses to lease or rent land in Israel that it owns, to non-Jews.
