BBC news article- NHS accountant's Twitter posts anger cleft lip campaigners

I am so tired of inaccurate/misleading information being offered as evidence to support centralisation of cleft surgery in Scotland. For months we have been trying to get decision makers to realise this without success. Unfortunately, when the information is supplied by someone in authority that they think knows the subject matter better than them, they believe it. When we as lay people argue the point the tendency is not to believe us. We are treated as over reacting parents or it is just put down to service users natural reluctance to change. It would, however, be great to think that Shona Robinson, Cabinet Secretary for Health is the exception and that she is actually seriously considering our objections and the evidence WE have provided. That she is also considering that this isn't a case of mass hysteria but that we do actually have very valid concerns for the future of every cleft patient in Scotland should the centralisation go ahead. We need to continue to collect signatures, so please continue to share and/or retweet the petition. Please also write to Shona Robinson opposing the petition if you haven't already done so.
