George Aylett (Labour) - who stood for in the 2015 General Election in South West Wiltshire at nineteen years of age - will also speak on the one-year anniversary of the most disproportionate election in British history. The Demo for Democracy will take place from midday, Saturday 7th May at Old Palace Yard, opposite Parliament, Westminster, London. Owen Jones, author of “Chavs: the Demonisation of the Working Class” and left-leaning political activist, recently came out in favour of Proportional Representation on his Youtube channel. George Aylett, who sits on the Young Labour National Committee, campaigns inside and outside the Labour Party for a fair voting system.
