A Saanich Town Hall Meeting will be held on Tuesday May 6, 2025.  The information from Saanich on how to participate, including time and location is in quotations below.

In regard to the transportation aspect of the Quadra/McKenzie draft plan, Saanich has stated that it will consult with BC Transit.

The Town Hall gives the public the rare opportunity to speak openly with their Mayor and Councillors on a broad as opposed to limited range of topics.  This is the first such opportunity in half a year, as last year the majority of Saanich Council voted to eliminate Open Forums which took place monthly; a planned Town Hall set for late February was cancelled at a time when the proposed plans for McKenzie were under close scrutiny from the public.

As this is a rare opportunity it is important the residents of Saanich speak up about issues that affect them, their communities and environment.

"The Town Hall will be an informal open mic session with no set agenda. Residents are welcome to speak on topics of importance, with a limit of three minutes per speaker, following the guidelines set out in the Council Procedure Bylaw.
