Early this morning the petition exceeded the 60,000 signature milestone which is unbelievable - 60k signatures in 4 days! Just shows how much these facilities are needed and how much they would change peoples lives. Sadly, still no word from any of the retailers who are listed in the petition. If you are on Twitter today feel free to ask them what they are planning to do. Yesterday I called on campaigners across the UK to contact their local press and radio to try and get their stories seen in their local communities. I'm so pleased to say that many people did do that and some have been successful in getting their local papers to interview them, others have been on their local radio stations. All this media coverage raises more awareness and tells people how much we need these facilities so it's fantastic. Myself and Sarah of Hadleys Heroes were both live on BBC Sussex Radio yesterday afternoon talking to Allison Ferns about the campaign and they even played Sarah's incredible Christmas song... "All I want for Christmas is a loo" which you'll see in the video. Today I would love to hit 65k signatures so please keep sharing the petition and telling people how this impacts on your life or the life of people you know.
