USFS Created Toxic Smoke and Heat Continue To Pollute The Sierra Range

Toxic smoke and heat from purposely grown USFS fires continue to pollute portions of the Sierra Range.

The attached photo was taken this morning, 9-1-18 overlooking the Tahoe Basin to the South.

The photo continues to demonstrate that the air quality information on the AirNow website is often inaccurate, misleading or false. Today's air quality map shows the Tahoe Basin in the "good" air quality range. Really, this is what Local, State and Federal Air Quality Control Agency's call "good" air quality?

Tell The USFS: It's Our Clean Air To Protect.....Not Theirs To Destroy

While the 99,000 acre USFS purposely grown Ferguson Fire is contained, history has shown that USFS Administrator ordered burn out and smoldering can continue for months. This, as the Donnell and Lions purposely grown fires continue to be "managed".

There is nothing natural or wild about this process.

Let's continue to sign the petition until the smoke and heat from all 3 of these USFS purposely grown fires is gone.
