Hello All and thank you for your support.
As you may know, this petition was circulated just over a week ago within a half kilometre radius of the micro-homes. So a few blocks south of Olive, as far west as Court, as far east as Huron and as far north as Eulalie.
We have just over 100 signatures, representing most, if not all, of the homes that received the petition!
Next step is approaching the media which will take place shortly.
You are all encouraged to reach out to your City Councillors in Ward 4&5 to express any concerns in advance of upcoming MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS on October 24, 2022.
Here is a link to the website of Derek Giberson, Councillor Ward 4, http://derekgiberson.ca/ and note he is "...really looking forward to connecting with the community this election season...".
Here is a link to the website of Rick Kerr, Regional Councillor Ward 4, http://electrickkerr.ca/ and note his motto is "...nothing is ever a problem; it's just an opportunity for a solution."
Take note that both were contacted recently in August with regard to ongoing issues with the project. I was told at that time that residents would be given an opportunity to voice concerns with the Region. I then received a phone call inquiry from the Region where I expressed the pain points of this project, and how public consultation was not effectively provided in advance of construction.

I will keep everyone posted as matters progress.
