Come out to register to vote if you need assistance!

Now that we know when the next election is going to be (18th July), it’s important to register to vote. Voting is the most important right and responsibility of any citizen. There is going to be a voter registration drive at Vasco da Gama Club on Monday, 12th June and Tuesday, 13th June, from 6pm to 9pm. We will have English and Portuguese-speaking volunteers there who can help you register to vote. Come by if you have any questions. However, don’t forget to bring your passport, Bermuda status certificate or any other proof of Bermudian status. If you want all political parties to take your issues seriously, be prepared to exercise your right to vote and let candidates know what you expect of them! --- Agora que sabemos a data das eleições (18 de Julho), é importante inscrever-se para poder votar. Votar é o direito e a responsabilidade mais importantes de qualquer cidadão. Haverá uma sessão de esclarecimento para ajudar eleitores inscreverem-se, no Clube Vasco da Gama na segunda-feira, 12 de junho e terça-feira, 13 de junho, das 18h às 21h. Teremos voluntários falando inglês e português que podem ajudá-lo a se inscrever. Venha se tiver alguma dúvida. Não se esqueça de trazer o seu passaporte, certificado de status de Bermuda ou qualquer outra prova de status de Bermuda. Se você quer que todos os partidos políticos levem a sério as suas preocupações, tem que exercer o seu direito de voto e deixe os candidatos saberem o que espera deles!
