@Donald McLeod: We understand your frustration that Thin Ice has attributes that differ from what we anticipated from the beginning of our campaign. However, we do stand behind what we have created because it does maintain the core qualities that we set out to achieve. Besides fulfilling our obligation to provide perks to our backers refunds are not possible because the money raised was used to create and deliver Thin Ice. This project was absolutely not created for the financial gain of anyone involved but rather to create and deliver the first manufacturing run of Thin Ice. All funds were used in attempt to achieve that end and thus refunding everyone that is not 100% satisfied with Thin Ice would not be viable even if we did agree that we didn’t fulfill our obligations. We’re sorry you feel that things should not end on a positive note if refunds can’t be provided but for the reasons above we cannot offer them as a solution. Thank you.

@Adam Paulin: I hope this attempt to reach a compromise works. I am hearing you stand by your product, and maybe this wasn't a get rich scam. If that's true, why not refund the money back to those of us who find the product unusable. Everyone who has commented so far has provided the examples why. Yes, you will have to take some risk in reselling the product, but with a possible financial gain. What I am asking is for you and your company to return the favor. I am sure I speak for many people in saying that we would love for this to end on a positive note, and be able to support your company again in the future when you produce a product that we can use in our day to day lives like was advertised.
