LGBTQ+ members often face discrimination in every aspect of the society for remaining by their identity. Education and attaining a high school diploma seems to be a step to work in a non discriminatory sector. They entirely rely on Education for a safe working condition.

Given if the board examinations where held earlier rather than the 2 month delay proposal their performance could drastically drop leading to further difficulty in their admission and employment. Several trans gender students are unable to access the medication they require. This causes severe psychological effects on them and are forced to withdraw from schools. They all deserve a chance to set their records right before the examination. We need to consider postponing the boards. This would also give adequate time for the trans gender community to file their legal documentation required by CBSE and ICSE. The CBSE and ICSE has been generous in allowing these students to represent themselves as they were in their identity, but the registration process could be lengthy.

We need to bring this into the consideration of the CBSE and ICSE before they schedule the dates.
