These are real stories shared by investors on various forums.

It is clear that the government is supporting investors, which is a significant reason why houses are no longer affordable for first-time home buyers. When investors outbid first home buyers, it prevents them from entering the market.

It's sad and shameful that the government is aware of this issue but remains inactive, partly because many politicians own numerous investment properties and have designed the system to favor real estate purchases as a primary tax-saving strategy.

It's time to change this approach and prioritize homes for living and raising families, creating a safe environment for children to grow up. The current situation is worsening due to investors driving up rents to cover higher interest rates set by the RBA.

Why should investors buy properties they cannot afford, forcing others to cover their higher EMIs? If investors didn't dominate the market, first-time home buyers could secure properties and raise their families in those homes.

This issue also leads to significant mental health problems for both parents and children, which may not be immediately apparent but will have long-term effects.
