On Thursday, May 26, 2022, we had our first rally, empowered by this petition and attended by nearly 100 allies. As documented in previous updates, the Niskithe Prayer Camp has had many vigils and assemblies as well as an hours-long march to the Lincoln, Capitol in Nebraska. However, the May 26th Rally was specifically empowered by this petition because, among other important issues presented, we read this petition out-loud to rally participants.

We also informed the rally participants that the first round of petition delivery had occurred. And, as signatures increase, we will redeliver this petition to the powers-that-be who are failing to honor and grant Human and Civil Rights to Native/Indigenous Americans in Lincoln, Nebraska in particular and, therefore, in the U.S. in general.
