Media reports today say faceless bureaucrats in Canberra have applied to enforce a restraining order approved by a US court covering Saffrine's property that she has been trying to sell since July.  https://www.canberratimes.com.au/story/8430510/us-tries-to-halt-aust-property-sale-by-ex-marines-wife/
 
A first hearing of the case will be heard in the NSW Supreme Court today.
 
Senator David Shoebridge told AAP's Luke Costin "How much is enough? Not only jailing an Australian citizen, husband and father at the request of the US but now trying to strip his family of their assets without any independent investigation by Australian authorities. The AFP and the AG (attorney-general) need to explain if they made even the most cursory independent investigation before they filed these proceedings, or if they were just a post box for US authorities."
