Big Noise isn't just for the school children.
They run Little Noise for participants from birth to primary school. It offers parents and carers a safe space to meet other community families and enjoy some musical entertainment for the little ones!
There is also The Noise, here is a picture of some of the Torry Noise members. We have participants playing viola, violin, cello and double bass. We are all at varying levels but come together to talk, laugh and play every Tuesday evening.
This is a group of people who come from all different walks of life, have various family set ups and are professionals, students and parents. The Noise gives us the opportunity to come together and support each other as well as learn an instrument which is something none of us could have afforded through our own lifetimes.
The Noise is also currently working on a project with "Harbour Connections" which runs in our neighbouring harbour community of Fittie. Its giving us the chance to talk about our area, explore music, language and also art. It's a fantastic experience for us all and we feel so privileged to be a part of it.
