Your enthusiasm and love for Guruji won the heart of the Iyengar family who had no hesitation in welcoming this initiative. NOW WE NEED YOUR HELP AGAIN! We are hoping to send the petition to the Iyengar family with an OVERWHELMING NUMBER OF SIGNATURES! Time is ticking and the Centenary Celebrations are just around the corner! WE CANNOT EMPHASISE ENOUGH HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO GET TOGETHER AS A GLOBAL COMMUNITY AND PROMOTE THIS PROJECT IN ANY POSSIBLE WAY. The family will no doubt be pleased to see so much involvement of the global yoga community in the pursuit of this wonderful tribute to Guruji. Also we strongly believe that a significant number of signatures would reinforce our suggestion to the Mayor of Pune and the Governor of Maharashtra to consider a Memorial of Guruji in his own āsana to adorn a public space of the City of Pune. Wouldn't it be nice to have a Memorial of Guruji in Model Colony where the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute is? Perhaps in the beautiful Gardens of Chittaranjan Vatika?
