Hey everyone! We're still trying to show Schoology that there's a lot of support for a pronouns feature. Please, if you have five minutes, just follow these simple directions. You can just copy and paste what I wrote.

FOR EVERYONE:

1. Go to https://support.schoology.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
2. Select Submit a Feature Idea on the dropdown menu
3. Add your email address
4. Under Subject, add “Pronouns Feature”
5. Under Description, add “Students and instructors should be able to display their pronouns on Schoology. This would especially improve the welfare of trans and nonbinary users. Many other learning platforms, such as Canvas, already have this feature.”
6. Under What are you trying to accomplish and why?, add “As someone who uses Schoology on a daily basis, I need the ability to display my pronouns next to my name so that other users are aware of them.”
7. Under List all user groups that this idea would impact, add “All Users, especially trans and nonbinary users”
8. Under Product Area, select Account login settings
9. Under Are you or your organization currently utilizing a workaround to reach your goal? If so please explain this approach, add “Yes, I have signed and shared the following petition: https://www.change.org/p/students-and-teachers-should-be-able-to-display-their-pronouns-on-schoology”
10. Under Level of priority, select 1
11. Submit!

FOR EDUCATORS AND ADMINISTRATORS THAT USE SCHOOLOGY:

1. Go to https://support.schoology.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4421070532759-Schoology-and-Pronouns-Petition
2. Upvote the post and comment your support
3. Share with colleagues that also use Schoology!
