These projects are only the beginning.....

From Penticton Western News, the federal government is giving over half a million dollars towards 'clean energy' in the Penticton area. Money is also being given to two other projects in BC. After the provincial government has approved nine wind farms and a solar farm to be built, the federal government is promoting even more. These initial projects will pave the way for numerous others to be built. Although they do not mention what is happening with the 38 facilities mentioned, we can see the direction they are heading. While small-scale projects may prove to be beneficial, especially in urban environments, hundreds and thousands of hectares of forests are not the place for industrial power generation.
