On June 5, World Environment Day, ahead of Sumitomo Metal Mining's (SMM) upcoming Annual General Shareholders' Meeting on June 25, FoE Japan and the Pacific Asia Resource Center (PARC) visited its Tokyo headquarters to submit the global petition along with all the signatures collected from you!

The signatures were collected from 11,315 individuals in 64 countries and 90 organizations in 40 countries by the 3rd deadline of June 2. Thank you very much for your cooperation! We would like to express our sincere gratitude once again.

The number of signatures on the petition site continues to grow.  
Responsible action from Sumitomo Metal Mining is being demanded by citizens around the world.
