Our Pennsylvania Constitution has a Green Amendment that guarantees our inalienable rights to pure water, clean air and healthy environments. Article 1, Section 27 says,

“The people have a right to clean air, pure water, and to the preservation of the natural, scenic, historic and esthetic values of the environment. Pennsylvania’s public natural resources are the common property of all the people, including generations yet to come. As trustee of these resources, the Commonwealth shall conserve and maintain them for the benefit of all the people.”

The time has come for us to show up in person at the upcoming Easton Planning Commission meeting Wednesday April 2nd 6:30 pm  at Easton City Council Chambers: 123 S 3rd St, floor 3, Easton PA 18042 - wear black clothing

Scannell will be presenting their proposal for the mega-warehouse, listed as line item #9 on the agenda: https://www.easton-pa.com/AgendaCenter/Planning-Commission-7/ There is a chance that they delay again - they have a pattern of removing themselves the day before the meeting - if this is the case you will receive an email notification on Tuesday as soon as the agenda is amended. Keep an eye on your email for any changes.

Spread the word! We have some great flyers and posters ready to be distributed and hung in windows. Please contact Jen Talarico to organize a pick up at: jenrico@gmail.com
