Hi All,

I wanted to give you all a quick update after today's First Reading. Council supported restricting medium density residential to 15m without the ability to increase by two stories. They also agreed to add bigger buffer zones between medium density residential and low density residential. Finally, they agreed to reduced high density residential (20m) to medium density residential adjacent to the low density residential area around Aurora and Sunnycrest. I understand that there can still be adjustments before the Second Reading. I will post the written minutes once they are available.

I encourage everyone to attend the Second Reading (or watch online) and attend the Public Hearing.

What's next:

  1. Second Reading (November)
  2. Public Hearing (December)
  3. Third Reading (January)
    1. Referral to Ministry of Transportation and Transit 
  4. Approval
