Thank you for your support, for signing, and for sharing this petition. We have not only met the milestone of 200, but we’ve reached and exceeded the milestone of 300. Our next milestone is 500 signatures, so please continue sharing to help us continue to bring awareness to ALU to get it shutdown. Since the last update quite a bit has happened: 1) we received a FOIA request response that indicates that TDCJ admits that ALU exists, 2) we have written letters to organizations, officials, and even the Governor, with a response from the Gov.’s office that ALU is being looked into (aka. Investigated), 3) we have brought awareness (letting them know that we know about ALU) at the TDCJ Board of Criminal Justice meeting in August, and 4) we have held a webinar that educated participants about ALU and allowed them to ask questions and interact with the panel.
