YOU MUST SET UP TfL's AUTO PAY

I don't wish to sound as if I am preaching.  However, one of my friends drove through the Blackwall tunnel on Sunday before lunchtime and paid £4 for the privilege. That's a £2.50 extra donation to TfL, as he should only have paid £1.50 if he had set up TfL AUTO PAY.  Obviously, I did not say "I told you so".....

When speaking to a few drivers in SE London this morning, I mentioned "TfL AUTO PAY" and they said "you what?".  And then I told them how much they will be paying for tolls on the Blackwall/Silvertown tunnels at weekends (or off-peak during the week) if they don't sign-up to AUTO PAY. Then there was a flurry of activity on smartphones!

Please update your local Facebook pages or Nextdoor or Instagram or just bring it up in coversation, but please get the message out there!
