The hunting of dolphins continues in Taiji, Japan with pods of bottlenose, rough-toothed and Risso's dolphins recently killed for their meat or captured for sale to dolphinariums.

Thankfully there have been no further pilot whale hunts in the Faroe Islands, with the last grindadráp taking place on the 21st September. Faroe hunts have been known to continue into November, so the suffering may not yet be over for this year. We must hope for the best.
