Request submitted to NSW Government by developers to get around Local Planning

Below is a link to a document submitted by consultants on the developers behalf detailing what they want to build which includes:

• 2 drivethroughs
• a cinema
• 5 storey hotel
• with the remaining floors being residential units of which only 7.5% will be permanently allocated to affordable housing.

One alternative they have suggested is the original develop they put forward of nine floors including a cinema submitted previously and rejected because of a lack of parking and other infrastructure to support it. There solution seems to be to double the size of the development, ignore why the original submission was rejected and use affordable housing to go around our Local Development Plan. Where are all these people going to park and how will the surrounding roads cope?
