Coleraine Leisure Centre will now temporarily host community theatre performances — giving local groups a stage to perform and audiences a place to gather until a new, permanent space is secured.

From January 2025, a local drama group will perform Guys and Dolls, bringing creativity and community spirit to this setting — complete with brand-new, comfortable seating.

We will keep fighting for a permanent community theatre space through the Coleraine Town Fund, securing a long-term home for culture, education, and performance in our town.

We also understand that the Leisure Centre itself is due to close for a revamp, so the fight for a new space continues — but for now, let’s take a moment to celebrate temporary progress.
