300 Cats Need Shelter from the Torrential Rains and Months of Storms Coming to Southern California!
Dear Caring Friends,
Thank you again for signing the petition to stop the cruel stray cat feeding ban. With your help, the law was changed and it is now legal to feed cats in Anaheim! And thank you so much to those who donated to help us feed the kitties of Anaheim! We now have enough donations to keep the kitties fed for the next few months! But just as we stopped to take breath of relief because the cats are not starving, the kitties are now suddenly faced with a new and terrifying danger! Due to this year’s rare ‘El Nino’ Pacific Ocean warming phenomenon, forecasters are predicting for Southern California that January, February and March will be the wettest, stormiest months in 70 years! This is disastrous and potentially deadly for stray, abandoned and homeless kitties who live outdoors! Can you help these kitties stay safe and dry? Thank you for caring about the kitties who have been left behind and left outside!

Our cat rescue organization, ‘Anaheim Fix Project’ fixes and helps care for over 300 community cats in more than 30 locations around Orange County. We have volunteers who are ready to create over 100 winter rain shelters for the kitties, but we need funds to purchase the supplies. The rains are coming very soon and we are scared for the kitties, many of whom are already suffering from upper respiratory illnesses from this unusually cold California winter. When cats can’t escape the rain, they quickly develop deadly hypothermia. Can you help us keep the kitties alive this winter? No donation is too small! Thank you so much for your kindness!

The Anaheim Fix Project is dedicated to healing the stray cat crisis of Orange County. We spay/neuter, feed and rescue homeless cats and kittens and we fight for the rights of these innocent creatures. We were instrumental in convincing the city of Anaheim to change a cruel law that had banned the feeding of stray cats. We are now helping the city develop humane community cat policies and programs.
