WE DID IT !!! The Franklin Common Council voted NO to grant special use to Strauss Slaughterhouse!!! Thank you to all the residents that spoke out, called, emailed, researched, canvassed, painted signs, worked with lawyers, shared on Facebook, donated services, printed flyers, and sacrificed sleep and family time to make this happen! I am so in awe right now! Activism works and our voices were heard!
This is only the beginning of a brighter future where we as citizens have the power to create the changes and empower business we want to see in our communities.
