Hi all, I wanted to let you know that we now have 1443 signatures on this petition. Thank you so much for your support!

Unfortunately, SU is not going to cancel this event.  They have moved it off campus to Drumlins Country Club, which SU also owns.  They relocated it out of a concern for security, not to protect trans people.  Bottom line is SS is still being hosted on SU property.  We have now moved to organizing protest.  If you feel compelled, please join us outside Drumlins at 6:00 (or whenever you can get there!) to peacefully protest this event.

And keep signing and sharing!  I'm sure all of this will have media coverage and the stronger our petition is, the more we'll be able to say we told you so.  SU often acts reactively, rather than proactively, and our numbers here will give us something to lean on.
