The passengers are paying for these entire reckless bus driver actions through fare increase and the bus driver are getting away with murder. While these bus companies are harboring murders that are operating a large weapon that can cause an innocent person their lives as the Prosecutor detectives write it off as an accident. It is sad that the politicians, bus companies, detective treats the victims live as no value. The victims cannot go back to their family but the bus drivers can. I believe is these bus driver know they were going to jail and serve some time, as well as, losing their jobs all these death will stop.
NJ Transit board to decide if it will pay $2.5M to motorcyclist hurt after being struck by bus
New Jersey Transit's board is set to vote on whether to agree to a $2.5 million settlement to resolve a lawsuit stemming from an accident in the Lincoln Tunnel.
The accident occurred in 2011. Motorcyclist Keith Nystrom, a former Wayne resident, was rear-ended by an NJ Transit bus and pushed into a bus in front of him. He suffered serious injuries.
Nystrom's attorney has said Nystrom was riding in the bus lane. His lawsuit alleged the bus driver didn't see the bus in front of him stop and failed to put on his brakes in time.
NJ Transit's board is scheduled to vote on whether to approve the settlement at its monthly board meeting today.
