To All Film Lovers, Physical Media Collectors, and PlayStation Protesters,
Our campaign to protect true film ownership is expanding into a massive multi-film front. Today, we are officially expanding this petition to include two highly anticipated blockbuster titles: Greta Gerwig’s Narnia: The Magician's Nephew (2027) and Sony's co-distributed Charlie vs. the Chocolate Factory (2027).
To bypass social media algorithms and target Netflix effectively, we need to pool our collective efforts. Please start using these brand-new, streamlined hashtags on Instagram, X, and TikTok when commenting on official accounts or posting campaign updates:
#Narnia49Days (To expose and protest the restricted theatrical window)
#NarniaPhysical (To demand a permanent 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and physical disc rollout)
#Charlie47Days (To expose the restricted window hidden behind Sony's international distribution)
#CharliePhysical (To demand a true physical disc choice for collectors)
We are adding these to our existing arsenal alongside #CliffBoothPhysical, #CliffBooth45Days, and #Stop14DayWindows.
Mega-corporations want us to accept a "you'll own nothing and be happy" digital model, which is why the gaming community is fiercely protesting Sony's 2028 PlayStation disc phase-out timeline and Take-Two's empty box schemes. Netflix is playing the exact same playbook in Hollywood by hiding restricted theatrical windows behind flashy trailers while completely dodging physical media confirmation.
Look closely at the data we have calculated behind their corporate blueprint:

🥊 1. The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth (Thanksgiving 2026)
The Window: A strict, direct global contract with IMAX Corporation for a 14-day premium window.
The Trap: Glossy marketing tricks casual fans into thinking it's a normal holiday run. On Wednesday, December 9, 2026, day 15 arrives and the movie gets abruptly ripped off premium large-format screens to force a streaming monopoly.

🦁 2. Narnia: The Magician's Nephew (February 2027)
The Window: A precise 49-day window (Opening Friday, February 12, 2027 and streaming Friday, April 2, 2027).
The Trap: It clears the 45-day baseline but finishes strictly under 60 days. Sony Pictures is handling the international distribution, blinding casual fans into assuming a home media disc is naturally coming down the line.

🍫 3. Charlie vs. the Chocolate Factory (November 2027)
The Window: A precise 47-day window (Opening Friday, November 5, 2027 and streaming Wednesday, December 22, 2027).
The Trap: Just like Narnia, it uses Sony for international bookings as a theatrical smoke screen while keeping backend home video rights bound to a digital streaming monopoly.

Our Demand remains Unchanged: Criterion 4K Ultra HD Discs!
We refuse to watch auteur-driven cinema milestones turn into temporary digital streaming assets. We demand that Netflix honors consumer choice and partners with premium boutique labels like The Criterion Collectionto guarantee permanent, high-bitrate Physical 4K Ultra HD disc releases for all three films.
We are playing the smart, patient long game. Right now, casual moviegoers in both the US and Europe are blinded by the trailers and aren't tracking the dates on the calendar. But on December 9, when the premium theater doors abruptly slam shut on Cliff Booth, reality will smash into them. Their outrage will instantly match the energy of the PlayStation protests, and they will flood straight here to sign our expanded petition.
