Such conditions are nothing less than torture, and it's time that we step in to advocate for the voiceless.

It's critical that we implement reforms to prevent this cruelty. First, we must set stringent limits on journey times. Animals should not be confined for more than four hours continuously in transporters. Suitable rest periods and facilities must be provided, ensuring they receive adequate food, water, and safe shelter during these breaks. In addition, animals should be transported only to locations where their welfare is guaranteed, backed by enforced regulations and constant monitoring.

Furthermore, fair budgeting and resources should be allocated to ensure humane transportation methods that prioritize animal welfare over profit. Freezing live animal transport and opting for humane alternatives such as transporting frozen meat should become the norm.
