In a recent meeting with the Home Secretary, Kevin Hollinrake confirms he is against the proposal and will recommend a judicial review if further consultation and amendments are not made.

• Planning should have been obtained for the change of use
• Home Office previously closed down a similar centre in Priti Patel's own constituency, stating such schemes should be near ubran locations and services. That scheme was in a population of 25,000 and nearer the city. Linton has a population of 1200
• Safety concerns due to the volume of additional single males in comparison to local population
• Lack of amenities
• Lack of transport
• Poor consultation and engagement for which the Home Office have also been heavily critisced.
