Awareness and objectives achieved thanks to all our signatories!

After being told there were no objections to the proposed lighting  by the CCPG, the petition rapidly saw 300 signatures within a day and the petition clearly provided a safe place for the silenced majority to raise their objection.

The petition demonstrated 2 things:

1. Lack of prior community awareness

2. Irrespective of what the CCPG may claim  there is a significant proportion of our Community who object to this lighting. 

Awareness was certainly raised with reporting from the media.

Thanks to all those who signed our petition. 905 signatures is certainly a huge statement  of the community position.
