Kent Online interview

Hi everyone! 

Thank you so much for signing our petition. The young people we work with really appreciate your support.

There's a passionate group of young people here at GYG who are coordinating a protest to the plans by Kent County Council and they have asked us to update you on their work.

They have contacted every councillor at Gravesham Borough Council, the borough's councillors at Kent County Council and the local MP asking for their support to sustain the existing youth service. 

This afternoon two members of the group were interviewed by Kent Online about their battle to save youth centres in Kent. You should be able to read the interview on their website or in the print edition this Thursday. 

But this isn't the end...

Please share this petition with everyone you know, via email, social media and any other means you have. 

Let's show Kent County Council we don't support their plans to cut youth funding.

On Tuesday 22 August please come to Woodlands Park in Gravesend between 2:30pm and 4:30pm to tell the Kent County Council consultation stand you don't agree with their idea to remove commissioned youth services. 

Our young people will be there voicing their concerns. 

We really appreciate your support to keep youth services in Kent running.
