ESTHER McVey QUITS! WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR UNIVERSAL CREDIT
Like so many I’m watching the current cabinet turmoil unfold in real-time, including the shocking resignation of Secretary of State, Esther McVey’s over Brexit earlier today.
So what does this mean for UNIVERSAL CREDIT, most importantly what does this mean for our CAMPAIGN and PETITION?
Honestly, Its too early to say, but I am hopeful. Hopeful that it will make way for REAL CHANGE, opposed to the lip service we have received thus far.
What I will say is this............

The irony of the now former Secretary of State’s resignation letter earlier today is definitely NOT lost on me! The British People have been ahead of government on a number of issues Esther, namely UNIVERSAL CREDIT, the same reform that the “BRITISH PEOPLE” have been saying repeatedly DOESN’T WORK for some time.
The families that have been let down, the single mothers unable to afford childcare or return to work, the disabled people who have been abandoned by the system and those who have even paid the ultimate price with their LIVES.
The difference between the 98,000+ people who have signed this Change.Org/MumOnAMission petition and shared their stories is that, we DON’T just get to QUIT of WALK AWAY we have to live with the decisions that YOU and those like you have MADE.
David Cameron who started this whole Brexit Mess, WALKED AWAY. Esther McVey pushed UNIVERSAL CREDIT through, despite relentless criticism, WALKED AWAY!
The BRITISH PEOPLE will no longer tolerate a government that when the going get’s touch they GET GOING!
We have a real opportunity to MAKE A REAL CHANGE, we have an opportunity to make Ms McVey’s successor REALLY LISTEN & TAKE NOTE!
So PLEASE continue to SIGN and SHARE our petition and your stories so we can NO LONGER BE IGNORED
My personal parting message to Ms McVey is, unlike you Esther, WE ARE NOT going to QUIT until we ACHIEVE CHANGE for ALL, especially OUR CHILDREN!
