We did it! 

Durham County Council voted on Friday, 25th July, to scrap its proposed plan to destroy the historic bowling green and the much-loved community garden/public park known as 'Hemp Garden' by installing unwanted outdoor gym equipment. We couldn't have done this without all of you! Thank you for signing, sharing, and supporting the project. 

We are now working to finalise our bid to purchase the old toilet building on the site and renovate it into a community cafe. You can follow our journey and support us further by following the Hemp Garden Facebook page.
