We're making progress!

Thank you to all who attended last week’s Mar Vista Community Council (MVCC) meeting. The MVCC Board of Directors passed their recommendation to ban commercial zoning on Palms Blvd. This is promising but we still must put pressure on City Planners to ensure we, “the woods neighborhood” is removed from the proposed plan. It's not over yet. 

The next step is for the MVCC to share our community’s feedback with city planners in Traci Park’s office and continue to push them to remove Commercial Development on Palms Blvd., from their plan. 

Basically, our feedback was strong and is now moving up the food chain of City decision makers. 

There is an in-person City Planning meeting this Thursday Oct 17, at 7PM at Windward School (11350 Palms Blvd., Room 410, Los Angeles, CA 90066). I will be speaking and sharing our feedback with City Planners. All are welcome to attend! 

Keep sharing the petition with your neighbors! Let’s get to 500 signatures! And please continue to share your opposition with City Planners directly. Email them at:
