Dear Community and Supporters,

The past few weeks have been extremely challenging for us at Women For Change. We’ve encountered relentless online bullying, harassment, death threats, and the spread of false information and lies about our organisation and team members.

Despite this, we have been taking legal action and standing firm in our call for Chris Brown not to perform in South Africa.

We are excited to announce that our petition has exceeded 46,000 signatures and is on track to reach 50,000! Our momentum continues to grow, and we will keep gathering signatures as we prepare to engage with authorities in the coming weeks.

We are also closely monitoring the release of the documentary Chris Brown: A History of Violence by Investigation Discovery, set to premiere in South Africa tomorrow, Monday, 28 October, at 3am. Remember, the R. Kelly documentary ultimately led to his arrest, so it will be interesting to see how this develops.
