Boycott Avelo Protest
Who: Flathead Democracy
When: Saturday, May 31, 10-11 am
Where: FCA Glacier Int’l Airport - Gate 7 (across from Pioneer Rd on Hwy 2)
Why: Avelo Airlines has accepted a $150 million contract to operate deportation flights, aiding in the illegal removal of individuals without their right to a fair hearing or due process. It’s time for Avelo to feel the full force of our anti-fascist, anti-oppressive anger.
Where do we meet?
We are changing our location to meet and protest at a space designated by the airport for First Amendment protest in front of Gate 7. To access, turn into the area across from Pioneer Rd. on Hwy 2. There should be space to park in that area and lots of visibility on Hwy 2!
What do we bring?
Appropriate clothing, water, and a snack are always a must. Your sign should have very large lettering. A sheet with large spraypainted words is very effective. Posters with single letters (to form words) or single words (to form a phrase) are great. You can coordinate with others to hold your signs with you when you arrive!
