Germany must abandon its blockade policy for a no-fly zone and face the new security situation, with all the consequences.

In recent weeks it has become clear that Russia's alleged military superiority is largely a tissue of lies. Many vehicles / tanks date from the 60s / 70s, the armed forces are poorly trained and uncoordinated.

Russia cannot risk a confrontation with NATO because it cannot win it. Thus, there is no reason to give Putin a free hand in the genocide of the Ukrainian population.

By its attitude of hesitation and dithering, the German government is partly to blame for the current situation. All non-NATO countries are thus classified as fair game for Russian imperialism.

De-escalation and diplomacy had their chance and failed despite all efforts. The sanctions adopted are an important step, but they are only effective in the medium term. Only a strong NATO response has the potential to quickly stop the systematic killing in Ukraine.

As a German, I find the passivity of my government shameful and, measured against the suffering of the Ukrainians, untenable. But nothing is decided yet and Russia can be pushed back, so let's act now!
