Michael Conole I can hear the sage voices of vested interests telling him his nuts will be put in a jar if he halts the project.

Lloyd Stevens Good, once you have 3000 pieces of shell, how many more do you need. Lets get on with building a system that will benefit over a million people eventually.

Marco Vega
Marco Vega Greg Hunt is just another LNP wet towel sucking up to corporate money & profit "and jobs". So far these bunch of useless demagogues have not produced anything of value or memorable, despite all their rhetoric, champagne and helicopter rides. Their blame towards Labor has stopped to a point - thanks goodness - yet they continue to act as if they own the future of Australians. The only cultural identity we have is our connection to Native Australians, yet Mr Hunt is too blind and irresponsible and gutless to act positively. And even if the artefacts are not worth in value, they are within an area which can tell us much about the ancestry of REAL Australians and deserve to be preserved and investigated further for the future of our children. I cant wait to vote these bunch of tossers out. All they care is coal, csg, champagne and "cheap" rides to a bbq for the opening of an envelope.

Richard Horobin Beware, Trolls.
Much of Sydney's aboriginal heritage ended up in the mortar of the early buildings. No need to repeat that mistake.

Glendon Carter If you read the article he has the support of Aboriginal groups. Just because one group disagree with him doesn't mean the wrong decision has been made.

Andrew Sharwood What a waste of money. Sydney, you got rid of trams in the fifties whereas Melbourne kept theirs. It's too much money to put them back. Same applies to Newcastle where I now live.

William Jones If this was the broken pottery of Rome or Greece, there would be no question of stopping work, but it would seem that since Aboriginal culture is of no value to the Liberal party and their backers it must be ignored. Greg Hunt, cultural vandal.
