The Rooks County Sheriff delivered the letter on 10/5/21, which basically asks Stephanie to please give Mati back now as she agreed when she started fostering Mati (attached image is a text message Stephanie sent me in May 2020, in which she promises that I will get Mati back to me once I am able to care for her again. That was our agreement. I did not give Mati to Stephanie. My hope with these efforts, I can get Mati back without a court trial. This has all been hard enough, and I would really like this to be over.
