With Justin, we will be dismantling the false narrative that boys can't be trafficked by sharing the current case of survivor Jordan Hampton, a sex trafficked teen boy facing possible life in prison along with his 19 year old sister, Jessica.  We will also share more updates about Tiffany's journey to freedom and her own advocacy for other survivors. Along the way, we'll share our vision for a justice system that serves and protects, not punishes, all survivors of human trafficking. We hope to see you there. For the next few weeks, Karana Rising, alongside allies and members of the Survivor Justice Initiative, will break down the stereotypes, misinformation and lack of understanding and compassion that leads to survivors of human trafficking being imprisoned as a result of their own trafficking. Each week, we will unpack one core issue as we work toward a future where the justice system works for survivors, not against them.
