Sarah discusses research highlighting differences in the types of electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) available in a YouTube video entitled "Is all ECT (Shock Treatment) Created Equal? Which hospitals are most safe?"

She also discusses how hospitals are not required to share patients response to ECT. Nor are they required to give each patient a comprehensive brain injury assessment. Some patients have success, but because it's not standardized, many patients discuss permanent brain injuries and permanent brain damage in online brain injury support groups for ECT.

Research on low-voltage Electrical injury indicates that some neuromuscular injuries may be progressive.

Sign the International petition to standardize, regulate, audit ECT and to provide comprehensive brain injury assessment and rehabilitation to patients if/when injured.
