As many of you are aware I’m holding the next Awareness/Protest Day on the 3rd of August, a bit of a change this time though, we are marching from Martin Place, Sydney (10:15am) to First Fleet Park at Circular Quay. **One of the wonderful police officers suggested we go there as we are more likely to encounter bigger crowds, less construction works and the possibility of international tourists on large ocean liners in the Quay, a genius idea and well worth a try, Thank You to those wonderful officers who assist us each time.
I’m still talking with certain people relating to the pop up stores in shopping malls, Live Export is such a controversial topic nothing is ever straight forward when it comes to getting permits or permission to “showcase” the brutality of Live Exports. BUT like the awareness days, I will push on until they allow me access. I PROMISE, I will NEVER back down.
Please share the date for the Awareness/Protest Day... Sue from Melbourne has also written a few letters if anyone would like a copy to send to The Dept of Agriculture, Scott Morrison, your own MP and anyone else you think of. We need to keep the pressure up for the sake of these animals xx
