With the thought of those sheep going and the petition invalid, this week has been a roller coaster of emotions.BUT how wonderful was the news that EMS Rural Exporters were denied the license to ship the sheep to 50+ degree heat in the Middle East. I’ve spoken to so many PA’s and other people about the petition, the protest march and other concerns this week, yet the petition is still regarded as invalid. Extremely disappointed, but I have not given up yet. There have been too many contradictory conversations had, it seems like NO ONE really knows how an e petition works...so it’s still a work in progress.I’d like to say a huge Thank You to the supporters who have donated to this cause, please know whatever you donate, it ALL goes toward “Stand Against Live Export”, also to those supporters who have contacted me offering help. I appreciate everyone’s help, suggestions etc. While I may not use every idea or take up every offer of help, I greatly appreciate that there are so many genuine, considerate people xx THANK YOUI have more plans in the making for late October, early November and if I can get it all together, ALL STATES WILL BE INVOLVED.Booking and payment for the coach is due next Friday, so if you or anyone you know are considering being on the coach, PLEASE book and pay by Friday the 20th of July.The cost of the return trip to Canberra is $25. The coach will be equipped with a toilet for anyone concerned. I’ve included the Protest March plan, this is NOT hard and fast, I’m sure everyone understands times are hard to predict in scenarios such as this. We will not proceed until the coach arrives.
