I’ve spoken to change.org and I’m still waiting for the Deputy Petitions Officer From Parliament House to get back to me. Change.org told me when the petition is “tabled” that doesn’t mean it is debated on, it is just mentioned, so it makes me wonder what’s the point of a petition? But I’ll wait to speak to Sally Rugg from Change.org before I take that side of it any further. I have to wait for the PO from PH to contact me before I know which road I’m going to take re: the petition. I did speak to a senators PA today and he told me the petition if it does get “tabled” it is discussed and then put forward to Parliament. SO I’M NOT TOO SURE what really happens. The senator’s PA did advise me to ask all the Aussie supporters to actually visit their local MP in person and let them know how you feel about LIVE EXPORT and what you want them to do about it. Apparently our local MP’s are suppose to take into consideration what WE the people want and then they can take it further...so if ANYONE would consider going to see their MP, in person that would be great. I was going to see mine today and let her know in no uncertain terms that I DESPISE LIVE EXPORTS and ALL THOSE involved in it. BUT my car broke down �, so as soon as my car is fixed Ann Sudmalis will be getting a visit from ME! Emanuel’s Exports are looking to use their other company EMS Rural Exports to ship the 60,000 sheep that were stoped from shipping recently. If this DOES go ahead the sheep are sailing into the Middle East in 50 degree heat, we ALL know what that means. SO PLEASE IF YOU CAN VISIT YOUR LOCAL MP, PLEASE DO. If not, it’s still worthwhile emailing or writing them a personal letter, this cannot go on. When o found out today I cried, I cried for every single sheep facing this trip (if it is given the green light). Thee are still loads of seats on the coach, so if you do want to be on the coach, please let me know. I thought it would fill up pretty quickly but sadly it isn’t. I’m not too sure I’d offer a coach again, it looks like working out quite costly for me. NO I’m not complaining, just saying I don’t think it will be a viable option in future. Anyway I will update again once I’ve spoke to the petitions officer and Sally Rugg. I’m not religious but I’m praying those sheep don’t ship, it will be a ship graveyard....
