Hume has blamed the DEA and Minister Molewa for the failure of his rhino horn auction. We disagree. We all know there is no market for rhino horn use in South Africa. We ask why would a trader in rhino horn expose his identity to purchase horn? Why would a trader pay Hume's auction prices for Horn when it is easier to pay a poacher? We also believe that the end user wants wild Rhino not artificial rhino horn or farmed rhino horn.
